Itās that time again! The Pats Planet Media writing team is ready to drop predictions! The Patriots will head to Cincinnati to take on JOE FLACCO and the Bengals. Thatās right.. no Joe Burrow this weekend.
Letās see what the squad has to say!

Since there is no Burrow this weekend.. I believe the Patriots handle this one by double digits. I actually had the Patriots winning by a touchdown if Burrow played (34-27). But now that itās going to be a banged up Joe Flacco, I think the Patriots win big – 34-17.
The question is: With JaāMarr Chase suspended this game for his spitting act last weekend, will the Patriots use two high safeties still? Thatās been the formula to beat the Bengals passing attack this season. I believe you do it. Donāt allow Tee Higgins to beat you.

Carlton Davis will be one to watch as he is 6ā4 – the same height as Tee Higgins. I donāt think youāll see Gonzo matched up on Higgins the entire game. So how will both of our corners matchup against Higgins and the Bengals pass catchers?
The Bengals will have to score 30+ to win this football game and upset the 9-2 New England Patriots. I think itās too tough a task, even at home. Letās not forget – the Patriots are the only undefeated team on the road this season.
It continues. Patriots claim 1 seed in the AFC.
Score: Patriots 34 – Jets 17
Player Spotlight: Carlton Davis

I would expect an exciting game with a lot of points for both sides. The Bengals defense has been one of the worst defensive units in NFL history up to this point and the Pats passing defense has shown that it can be exploited at times.
Although Joe Burrow is out for the game, the other Joe (Flacco) has been running the Bengalās offense at a high level. Even without JaāMarr Chase I do see them being able to move the ball down the field and score points. However, it wonāt be enough to come out on top.

This will be a spot where Drake Maye bolsters his MVP case and puts the league on notice with a dazzling performance. After playing some good defenses over the last little stretch of games, this will be a big step down in competition, allowing Maye to put it all together and deliver a signature showing. Heāll get everybody on the offense involved, including Kayshon Boutte who is coming off an injury. Those two will hook up for a deep touchdown. In addition, I think TreVeyon continues his touchdown streak, finding his way into the endzone for a score.
When itās all set and done, the Patriots will leave Cincinnati on a nine game winning streak and dare I say be poised to win the division and make a run at the #1 seed in the AFC. I donāt want to jump the shark, but everything is coming up Patriots!!
Score: Patriots – 34, Bengals – 24
Player Spotlight: Drake Maye – 24/30, 308 yds, 3 TD

The Patriots enter this matchup against Cincinnati looking like a team that finally knows exactly who they are ā physical, balanced, and relentlessly aggressive on offense. With TreVeyon Henderson fresh off another explosive outing, New England should have zero hesitation feeding him early and often to set the tone. The Bengalsā defense, missing key pieces and struggling to stop the run all season, simply isnāt built to withstand four quarters of downhill punishment. And once Henderson forces Cincinnati to commit extra bodies in the box, Drake Maye will have the freedom to carve up the secondary with clean reads and efficient strikes.
Cincinnatiās offense, meanwhile, walks in wounded. With JaāMarr Chase and Joe Burrow sidelined, the Bengals are depending on a patchwork attack that hasnāt found rhythm in weeks. Their ground game has been inconsistent, their passing game lacks a true focal point, and the pressure mounts quickly when forced into long-yardage situations. Against a Patriots defense that has quietly become one of the more disciplined units in the AFC ā flying around, tackling well, and generating timely pressure ā itās hard to imagine the Bengals keeping pace.
Expect New England to control the trenches, dictate tempo, and deliver a statement win that continues their late-season surge. This one should never feel close.
Key Predictions:
⢠Drake Maye: 4 passing TDs, 0 INTs
⢠Patriotsā defense: 6 sacks, 2 forced turnovers
⢠TreVeyon Henderson: 121 rushing yards, 1 TD

Score: Patriots 38, Bengals 19
Player Spotlight: Kyle Williams ā 5 Receptions, 85 Yards, 1 TD

With Joe Burrow sidelined and JaāMarr Chase suspended, Joe Flacco faces a daunting task against New Englandās elite defense, which ranks No. 1 vs. the run. Drake Maye exploits Cincyās league-worst secondary for 300+ yards and 3 total TDs, extending the Patsā streak to nine.

Score: Patriots 28 – Bengals 17
Player Spotlight: Drake Maye
