Game of the year for the Patriots and Bills?
Yes..
But this might end up being the game of the year for the entire NFL.

Patriots vs Bills Predictions

Score: Patriots – 34, Bills – 31
Player Spotlight: Drake Maye (25/31, 280, 3 Total TDs)
Division Champs?
The Patriots have the opportunity to win the division for the first time since 2019, when Tom Brady was still QB. Interestingly enough — that was also Brady’s last season with the Patriots and the team that eliminated Brady and the Pats in the playoffs was the Titans – led by then Head Coach Mike Vrabel.
This week — the Patriots get a chance to dethrone the team who’s been winning the division since.. the Buffalo Bills.
I expect Drake Maye and Josh Allen to put on a show. Stefon Diggs will show up against his former team for the 2nd time this season. Running game and running backs in the passing game will be a big factor in why the Patriots get it done at home.
Let’s watch for an Andres Borregales game winning kick as time expires in the 4th quarter.

Score: Patriots – 27, Bills – 24
Player Spotlight: Kayshon Boutte – 6 Rec, 94 yards, 1 TD
This is the game that could seal the division and spark the beginning of a new era of dominance for this Patriots core. I would expect a spirited effort coming out of the bye, as the team should be healthy and refreshed, likely only being further energized by Mike Vrabel’s words of inspiration. The head coach is a perfect 6-0 following bye weeks throughout his career, and I think this streak will continue on Sunday.
First, looking at the Bills side of things, I definitely believe that they’ll be able to move the ball. With the Patriots weakened run defense, James Cook should be able to find some holes and make some big plays. In addition, Josh Allen will make things happen as he always does, extending plays and looking downfield. It’s going to come down to the Patriots coverage. I think they’ll be able to hold up in the backend, limiting the explosiveness of this Bills offense. Ultimately, I think the defense will either cause a turnover or come up with a big stop at some point in the game, giving the offense a chance to go out there and win it.
Speaking of the offense, Drake Maye should be able to have himself yet another great performance. The Bills tend to play a lot of zone, which he has been shredding throughout the season. On top of this, the Bills rushing defense ranks towards the bottom of the league, giving both TreVeyon and Rhamondre a chance to provide the team with at least sufficient gains on the ground. This balanced attack will prove effective, resulting in several sustained scoring drives and eventually leading to a game-winning Andy Borregales field goal.
Tomorrow will be a day that Patriots fans look back on for years to come. It will be the day in which the Patriots regained control of the AFC East, this time with a new quarterback and head coach that aren’t going anywhere anytime soon.
