While many people are expecting a letdown week from the Patriots, who are coming off a heartbreaking loss and have a number of injuries to important players, I am predicting a bounceback. Although the game may not end up meaning much in terms of divisional standings, Vrabel is still going to have the boys fired up after a very lackluster second half against the Bills.
The defense is likely going to struggle with containing Derrick Henry, still not having key guys like Milton Williams and Robert Spillane, but the Ravens offense hasn’t been the same for the majority of the year. They’ve looked good in recent weeks and have a former MVP quarterback in Lamar Jackson, however they just haven’t been able to find their groove and remain consistent over an extended period of time. If the Patriots can even somewhat stop Derrick Henry and limit the amount of damage done by the Raven’s tight ends, I think they’ll be able to hold them in check.
Zooming over to the other side of the ball, Drake Maye is destined to have a get back game after an underwhelming showing last Sunday. In primetime, he will be determined to get things back on course against a Ravens passing defense that ranks in the bottom third of the league in terms of both passing yards and points allowed. The receivers should be able to get separation and provide Maye with open targets to throw to, and I don’t think Drake is going to miss many throws this week. He will have an MVP like performance on Sunday Night Football and will lead the Patriots to a big win.
The Patriots will leave Sunday with their fourth primetime win of the season and will be heading into the final two weeks of the season with a 12-3 record.
Player Spotlight: Drake Maye – 21/28, 285 passing yards, 3 TD
Score: Patriots – 28, Ravens – 20

The New England Patriots enter this matchup against the Baltimore Ravens with one clear mission: test the league’s toughest reputation and see how real it actually is. Baltimore lives off physicality, defensive pride, and the idea that nobody wants to play them. That’s cute — because this New England team doesn’t flinch. This is a Patriots squad that wants violence in the trenches and confidence under center, and they’re getting both right now.
For New England, everything starts with Drake Maye, who is playing quarterback like he’s been in the league for five years instead of learning on the fly. The command, the calm, the ability to diagnose pressure pre-snap — it’s all there. Against a Ravens defense that loves simulated pressure and late rotations, Maye’s processing speed becomes the separator. Expect the Patriots to lean on tempo, force Baltimore to declare coverage early, and then attack mismatches before the blitz even gets home.
The ground game will be the stress test. TreVeyon Henderson isn’t just a runner — he’s a problem. His burst through the hole and ability to turn four-yard gains into chunk plays forces linebackers to step downhill fast. That’s when the Patriots offense opens up. If Baltimore creeps safeties into the box, Maye will take the free yards outside. If they stay disciplined, Henderson will keep hammering until discipline turns into fatigue. Either way, New England controls the pace.
Defensively, this is where the Patriots can quietly flip the script. The Ravens offense thrives on rhythm and leverage, but New England’s front has been winning early downs and setting up long-yardage situations — exactly where this defense feasts. Expect disciplined edge setting, aggressive interior pressure, and a secondary that’s willing to challenge throws instead of sitting back. If the Patriots force Baltimore to drive the length of the field repeatedly, mistakes will follow. They always do.
This game won’t be pretty — and that actually favors New England. Cold weather, physical football, and a coaching staff that understands situational dominance. Win first down. Finish drives. Make Baltimore earn every inch. If the Patriots do that, this turns into a statement about where this rebuild actually is — not hopeful, not cute, but real.
Player Spotlight: Drake Maye — 300 passing yards, 1 rushing TD, 2 passing TDs
Key Predictions:
- TreVeyon Henderson: 112 rushing yards, 1 TD
- Patriots’ defense: 5 sacks, 1 interception, 2 forced fumbles
Score: Patriots 27 – Ravens 16

Busy week for me. Wasn’t able to put together a full on article. However, I’m still going to give you guys a prediction and postgame recap.
Player Spotlight: Stefon Diggs
I think Diggs bounces back and has one of his GAMES. This is Primetime.
The big key is going to be how the Patriots run defense responds against the Ravens Derrick Henry/Lamar Jackson on the ground. The Pats run defense was historically good to start the year.. but it’s fallen apart as of late.
Score: Patriots 27 – Ravens 24
