Belichick, 73, and Hudson reportedly met on a flight in 2021, though their relationship became public in 2023 following his split from longtime partner Linda Holliday . Despite the public nature of their relationship, Hudson’s interruption suggests a desire to keep certain aspects private.
In the interview, Belichick also discussed his departure from the New England Patriots after 24 seasons, describing it as a mutual decision, despite owner Robert Kraft’s characterization of it as a firing .
