THE BRADY STATUE: AUGUST 8TH
It’s happening — the GOAT is getting bronzed.

It’s almost time!
The New England Patriots have announced that the 12-foot statue of Tom Brady will be unveiled on Friday, August 8, 2025, outside the Patriots Hall of Fame at Gillette Stadium. The ceremony will take place right before New England’s first preseason game this year against the Washington Commanders. This will serve as the latest tribute to the GOAT. I don’t think Patriot fans will ever get sick of honoring Brady, to be honest.
The statue’s design details haven’t been revealed just yet, but we do know it will be twelve feet tall, a symbolic nod to Brady’s iconic jersey number, obviously. It will also reportedly stand alone in the plaza, representing the singular legacy he built in Foxborough — a legacy that includes six Super Bowl titles with the Patriots (7 total), three league MVPs, and a mountain of NFL records: 89,214 passing yards, 649 touchdown passes, and 251 total wins across the regular season and playoffs.
This isn’t the first major honor for Brady either. Massachusetts officially declared June 12 “Tom Brady Day,” and his No. 12 jersey has already been retired by the team. But this statue is different. It’s permanent. It’s public. And it cements his place in Patriots history not just in numbers — but in bronze!

Now here’s the thing… I’m planning to be at Gillette Stadium on August 8th to see the statue unveiled in person. Last time I checked, tickets for that preseason game were as low as $40, which is wild considering the historical moment that night will be. Whether you’re a die-hard fan or just someone who wants to witness Patriots history, it feels like the kind of event you’ll want to be part of. See ya there hopefully!
But while the Brady statue feels like a no-brainer, it raises a question I can’t stop thinking about — and I bring it up in my latest video:
What about Bill Belichick?
If Tom Brady gets a 12-foot statue, does the greatest head coach in NFL history deserve one too? Check out my video below and find out what I have to say about it!
