Day 4 brought the best action yet — Drake Maye let it rip, Pop Douglas dominated again, and TreVeyon Henderson returning kicks? Things are heating up fast in Foxborough with pads on Monday! Full recap video now live on YouTube!

FOXBOROUGH — Day 4 of Patriots Training Camp felt like the first real day of football this summer. Fast tempo, full-team competition, and the deep passing game finally opened up. This was the final unpadded session before Monday, when pads begin — and with it, a clearer picture of who’s actually winning these position battles.

Attendance & Injuries:
• WR Mack Hollins (PUP) — Did Not Practice
• TE Austin Hooper (PUP) — Did Not Practice
• OT Vederian Lowe (PUP) — Did Not Practice
• CB Carlton Davis — Limited, continued light work
• DT Jahvaree Ritzie — Limited, still ramping up
• LB Jahlani Tavai left practice early with a reported lower-body/calf issue.

(Ja’Lynn Polk still not at practice WITH TEAM – however, he was on opposite field doing solo work)

Camp Trends After 4 Days:
• Drake Maye/McDaniels opening things up — deeper throws, off-script plays, visible leadership.
• Pop Douglas remains the guy on offense so far through camp — explosive cuts, good hands, the clear standout.
• Kayshon Boutte still works with starting WRs; Kyle Williams slightly outpaced Kendrick Bourne so far
• TreVeyon Henderson is proving he belongs — legit homerun hitter
• Defense is being molded around Spillane — making consistent plays and showing communication strength.

Drake Maye Report – Day 4 Stats:
• 7-on-7: 4/7
• 11-on-11: 8/17

Started slow but took command late, hitting Pop Douglas and Javon Baker on deep touchdowns. He had some misses early, but this was easily his most aggressive day yet — attacking tight windows and showing the confidence of a future QB1.

Wide Receiver Highlights:
Pop Douglas – 3 grabs in team drills, including a beautiful deep TD from Maye. He continues to eat in this Josh McDaniels offense.
Javon Baker – Long touchdown in 7-on-7. Huge bounce-back day.
Kayshon Boutte – Used consistently with the starters. Red zone and vertical looks.
Kyle Williams (R) – Steady and smooth. Hasn’t dropped much all week.
Stefon Diggs – 2 catches on 6 targets. Had a drop and a hard fall near the sideline, taking out gatorade container.
Kendrick Bourne – Running hard, getting his own work sporadically
Efton Chism III (R) – Working with the 2s and 3s. Special teams value emerging; still on the right track

Defense Notes:
Robert Spillane – Two PBUs today. Vocal, physical, setting the tone.
Jack Gibbens – Tipped a ball that led to a pick. Very active day.
Jabrill Peppers – Jumped that tipped pass for an interception. Instinctual. Took it to the endzone
Keion White & Milton Williams – Maye was under pressure at times today thanks to these two. Although Keion was held in check for the most part against Campbell.

🚀 Special Teams Watch:
Andres Borregales – 3-for-4 on kicks, including a missed XP. Did hit from 50.
John Parker Romo – Still perfect in camp. Clean ball rotation. (1 kick was so close that it’s ‘under review’)
TreVeyon Henderson – Took return reps and looked explosive. Great vision and burst on offense as well – taking first team reps in and out with Rhamondre (as expected)

🎤 Fan Questions Covered in the Video:
• What’s going on with Efton Chism’s reps?
• How’s the O-line shaping up?
• Is Greg Bedard????? coaching Campbell?! (Spoiler: He’s not lol)

Morgan Moses continues to mentor Will Campbell after nearly every rep, and Jared Wilson is quietly taking reps at both center and guard. The pads go on Monday — that’s when the real answers start coming.
