Day 2 in Eagan belonged to the Vikings. While Kayshon Boutte was a bright spot for New England — making tough grabs all day, including a Hail Mary TD over three defenders — Minnesota’s pass rush and passing attack set the tone. Drake Maye had sharp throws when protected, but the offensive line struggled badly, giving up multiple sacks and stalling drives.
Josh Dobbs connected with Efton Chism and Javon Baker for scores, and TreVeyon Henderson found the end zone twice. Tight ends Hunter Henry and Austin Hooper chipped in red zone TDs, but those highlights were outweighed by breakdowns on defense.
The Patriots’ secondary gave up several touchdowns and struggled to contain Minnesota’s receivers. Even with multiple would-be sacks from Milton Williams and Christian Barmore, the Vikings consistently moved the ball and finished drives.
