Drake Maye (10) – Kayshon Boutte (9), Efton Chism (86) vs. Titans – 10/19/25

It seems like every week we’re talking about Drake Maye doing something historic — and Week 7 against the Tennessee Titans was no exception. The second-year quarterback set a Patriots franchise record for single-game completion percentage, going 21-for-23 (91.3%) through the air. When you consider this team once had the GOAT under center for two decades, that’s no small feat.

Maye was absolutely phenomenal once again, and somehow that still feels like an understatement. He had just one incompletion in each half, controlling the game from start to finish and delivering one of the most efficient performances in Patriots history. As long as Drake Maye is under center, the Patriots are in very good hands.

Defense Settles In and Dominates

The defense started slow early, but once they locked in, they completely took over. New England finished with six tackles for loss and five sacks, swarming Cam Ward and shutting down Tennessee’s rhythm.

K’Lavon Chaisson had his best game as a Patriot — recording two sacks, including a strip-sack returned for a touchdown. Marte Mapu, who’s looked far more comfortable since transitioning to linebacker, led the team with eight total tackles and was all over the field.

Offense Clicks Behind Stevenson and Maye

Offensively, it was the perfect balance between air and ground. Rhamondre Stevenson had his best outing of the season — 18 carries for 88 yards and a touchdown — as the Patriots leaned on him early and often to set the tone.

Then, of course, there was Maye — the star of the show. He distributed the ball to seven different receivers, finishing with 222 passing yards, two touchdowns, and no turnovers. On the ground, he added eight carries for 62 yards, showcasing his athleticism and poise in key moments. He also notched yet another game with a 135+ passer rating, continuing his red-hot campaign.

A Star on the Rise

For anyone who doubted Drake Maye’s consistency, accuracy, or NFL readiness — the numbers speak for themselves. Week after week, he’s proving to be not just a franchise quarterback, but one of the best deep-ball passers in the entire league this season. Every Sunday, he gives Patriots fans something new to marvel at.

The future is here.
And his name is Drake Maye.
